Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (or Arusha Airport), you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Drive to Nyerere National Park & Sunset Boat Safari
Day 2
Begin your journey with an early morning drive from Dar es Salaam to the vast wilderness of Nyerere National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and local villages along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and a short rest before heading out for a magical sunset boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Glide peacefully across the water as you spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife, with elephants and other wildlife often seen along the riverbanks.
